Oooo - this one is a game-changer. It tops my list for a reason. "Untamed" is a powerful memoir and manifesto, from the-one-and-only Glennon Doyle, that explores her journey to self-discovery, worrying less about what others think, and having the courage to become her true, untamed self. It is the biggest, boldest, most loving call to live authentically that I have ever held in my hands.
2."Better than Before" by Gretchen Rubin:
Gretchen Rubin is one of my most favorite authors and podcasters. As a lawyer-turned-best-selling-author - she’s got a compelling, research-backed, insightful approach to help you live a happier life. In this book, Gretchen delves into the science and psychology of habit formation. She draws on her personal experiences and (of course) extensive research, and provides practical tips and strategies that help create positive habits to lead a more fulfilling and successful life.
Listen up my leading ladies: if you want to advance your corporate career and are baffled by how exactly to go about it - Silicon Valley sage, Patty Azzarello, removes the mystery and shares practical tips to get ahead. "Rise" is a pragmatic guide that shares actionable advice, strategies, and insights to help you rise to a leadership position and achieve success in your career and life.
4. "Girl, Stop Apologizing" by Rachel Hollis:
This book is a girl-power anthem in writing. In her own endearing, empowering and authentic way - Rachel Hollis calls on you to own your ambitions unapologetically. She shares her own relatable experiences and motivational advice to help you overcome self-doubt, set audacious goals, and pursue your dreams with confidence and grit.
5. "Words That Change Minds" by Shelle Rose Charvet:
Have you ever found yourself at a total impasse with someone else? Like the words you’re speaking seem to go in one ear and out the other? This book spells out why. It is a powerful guide to understanding and influencing human behavior through strategic communication. It will give you the tools you need to communicate effectively, build rapport, and create positive change in personal and professional relationships.
OK - so let me know…
